Speaker: "Accessibility: The Strategic Context"
Peter Jones is Professor of Transport and Sustainable Development in the Centre of Transport Studies at UCL. He has led various research and policy-oriented studies into accessibility problem identification and diagnosis, at the macro level (e.g. regional access of different groups to employment and healthcare), meso level (e.g. access on foot to bus stops, railway stations and local shops and services) and micro level (e.g. development of auditing tools to assess the degree of physical access of different elements in the street environment for various disability groups).
